Osmun Lake is located in Cheboygan County, Michigan in the northern portion of the peninsula. Traverse City is 103 miles southwest of Osmun Lake and Mackinaw City is 43 miles northwest.

McLaren Northern Michigan in Cheboygan is 24 miles away and Chippewa County Airport is 84 miles north of Osmun Lake.

The 48-acre natural lake in the southern half of Cheboygan County offers residents the opportunity to swim, kayak, fish, and more.

Anglers can expect to catch blue gill, walleye, and pike, among other species. Local and state fishing regulations apply.

While you’re near the coasts of one of the Great Lakes, tour some lighthouses. The guided tours guide people through the history of the lighthouse dating back to the 1880s and show what it was like to be a lighthouse keeper. You also get to see some great views!
