Lakewood Community

Located in North Little Rock, Arkansas, the Lakewood Community is home to six different lakes. Each lake offers a different niche to its residents, which means there are plenty of recreational activities to choose from.

Lake One is 50 acres and more suitable for motorized boating and water sports for residents to enjoy.

Lake Two is geared more towards fishing with an accessible fishing dock that the community members can use. Its size is approximately 60-acres.

Lake Three has been known to be the swimming lake at one point in time. Rules about swimming on this lake still vary. This lake is 12-acres in size.

Lakes Four, Five, and Six are smaller in size, ranging anywhere from two to six acres each. They are used for residents to walk around and enjoy the beautiful scenic views from their lake homes.

The Lakewood properties offer members different facilities to use. There are sports fields, basketball and tennis courts. There are also recreational facilities close by such as McGee Park, which features a swimming pool and sports fields.

Near Lakewood

Close to Lakewood are parks, restaurants, shopping scenes, and more!

The Plantopic Home and Garden shop is adjacent to the area. This landscaping, design, and decorating shop carries an assortment of shrubs, bushes, roses, trees, pottery, fountains, and more to create the perfect look for your lake home.

The Lakewood Village shopping center is located just five minutes away and offers a great shopping scene and diverse dining options.

Hospital

There are two medical care centers located close to the lake area. Baptist Health Medical Center-North Little Rock is in a great location just under ten minutes away. The Baptist Health Family Clinic Lakewood is located extremely close by, just under five minutes.

Airport

The closest international airport to Lakewood Lake is the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport, which is just about a 15-minute drive. There is also the North Rock Municipal Airport located just ten minutes north of the lake area.

Education Options

There are several schools located in the area, and families will have the option of picking between public schools, magnet schools, and Catholic schools. All are great options and put forth the effort to provide a supportive learning environment for your child.

City of Little Rock

As the capital of Arkansas, there are lots to do and see. In the city, you and the family can take museum tours, explore the outdoors at the Pinnacle Mountain State Park, and indulge in the Arkansas cuisine that is traditional country style.
