Life on the Water

Spanning 610 acres, Duck Lake has a maximum depth of 25 feet and is ideal for swimming, boating, water sports, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. Called “the most relaxing and secluded lake in Michigan” by locals, Duck Lake borders the Ottawa National Forest.

The locals also say the lake is a top-notch fishing location. Anglers can launch from the boat landing and expect to catch bluegill, northern pike, rock bass, smallmouth bass, walleye, and yellow perch.
